I have a scorching sunburn on my chest, back, arms, and legs. I'm putting aloe on the burn but am looking for something that will help with the pain and stiffness so that I can be able to put clothes on and go back to work tomorrow.

this is going to sound kind of disgusting but it works very well..

Take a canister of quick oats ( oatmeal ) mix it with just enough water to make a thick paste and rub it on ( do not cook it..use the oats straight out of the canister ) ..if you have Noxzema, add Noxzema to your paste..it will take alot more of the burn away..
you will have to keep this on for awhile, at least until it looses its moisture..

I did this when I had 3rd degree sunburn and sun poisoning..it made my skin feel better than anything the doctors gave me..
my grandma used this on us as kids , back when no one used sunscreen and sun exposure ( overexposure ) was common..

there's a lot you may do. Take some tylenol for the soreness. sit in a funky water bathtub, practice aloe vera gel, and there is a few over-the-counter sprays you could practice to get the burn/warmth out yet do not use warm water, your pores and skin is already burned and it's going to harm even extra. perfect clinical care is to apply sunscreen, and a hat yet i understand the way it feels so with slightly of success you study the thanks to cover up next time. depending how undesirable you're burned, you ought to correctly be searching at some days to each and each and every week. once you've blisters, do not pop them. sit in a funky bathtub and take the tylenol

A nice cool damp hand towel (or towels) placed on the burn, will help to reduce the heat. Put a basin or bowl of cold water with a few ice cubes handy and dip the towels in the basin, wring out and repeat every time the towels start to get warm. NEVER ever put an oily salve on the burn. It keeps the heat in.

If it starts to blister, then see a doctor.

Aloe is good, as well as warm (not too hot or cold) baths with a capful of vinegar added to it.

Next time, wear sunscreen :)

Hot tea that is. But let it cool down first of course.
