Tae Kwon Do sucks. Find a better martial art to participate in. There are much better ones that'll teach you to be a much more skilled fighter. The really good ones, you'll learn the most when its just one on one with the instructor or very small classes. Tae Kwon Do is very americanized, repetitive and boring. I'd recommend researching Chinese Martial Arts or Jujitsu (even Brazilian)

I think that you should, one day these children will move up to the adult class and you will be there to guide them. My boyfriend is a black belt in Rhe Tae Kwon Do and has since moved on to Aikdo, but he stayed until some of the littlens moved up to the adult class so that there was someone there to help them. And with the one on one help you skills will be better.

Maybe you shoould look for another DoJang. If you go into training with a half a$$ed attitude then your throwing money away, and I know Tae-Kwon-Do can be expensive. Find another place to train or if you don't have alot of time in this art already, look into other martial arts.
Don't just go through the motions if your not into it, but don't stop training either. There are alot of good DoJangs out there.

i would suggest u to keep on going but first if u know the dudes who quit, ask them why, maybe the dojang has a problem or the teacher sucks. Btw, i enjoy it when sometimes the class is empty, like on friday nights where people dont feel like training, and usually there r only me and 2 or 3 guys, so we get more attention. And if u keep going to your classes, you will earn a respect frm your teacher for your strong motivation, mental strenght is a strong part of your training.

I would say stay in a program that you like, and not to worry about whether there are plenty of people. Being with a few may actually be beneficial. Ur instructor will be around to check on you frequently.
If u are uncomfortable, move to a different class, but never stop learning something you like.
Good luck.

Do you get enjoyment out of the class itself, even though there aren't many or any other students? Do you like your instructor? Do you like the exercise you get from the class? And something I always think about...how would you feel if you were the instructor and no one showed up? I would think that being a select few in a class like that would give you lots of individual attention and let you progress in your skills a lot faster!

if you let small things like that prevent you from going to class, then you really are not dedicated in learning the korean martial art tae kwon do.

Never give something you want to do up if you can help it, but something like this, sure, if you don't want it that much.
I quit tae kwon do and I have no regrets.

I think it is summer and I guess adults want a summer vacation. Stick with it, comes September, people will come back and you will have improved and they will have regressed.
You may want to give one or 2 of them a call to see what is going on, if you feel that you know them well enough to do this.
