I think if the world as we know it ends, it will be a natural event of some kind. Maybe a collision with something big in space. A massive earthquake triggering disastrous weather events. Something like that. One big war may very well happen, but I don't think it will be enough to wipe out everything as we know it.

Yes, and the leader will be the anti-christ. He will be a world teacher
and emerge into the public and inspire humanity to change its ways.

Subtle at first and then he will put a whammy on everyone and try to be worshiped as God.

It will be a religious war with very few believers in it.

Very possible. A lot of bad things have happened in the name of religion and war is one of them, so I can't see why it wouldn't just keep on escalating.
