A "selfless" prayer is the best kind. You simply ask God to direct the court proceedings for the best overall outcome, and "IF" it is the Lord's will - to spare your husband.

Sometimes what appears to be bad things happen for a reason as it did to Joseph who was sold into slavery by his brother, then later thrown into prison because of a lying woman and so on. In the end he became royalty.

You never said this is a matter of your husband being guilty or not (its best not too in-case somebody knows you and your husband - it could be used against you in court).

IF he is guilty he has to be prepared to accept whatever judgment is handed him and assume what ever judgment is the Lord's will - even if he is Innocent, he should have this mind.

Too many people make God promises of "Lord if you help me out of this jam I will live for you and make things right." When they get out of the jam they either forget the promise or decide that somehow the matter worked itself out. In these cases, God is not mocked and they do face punishment one way or another - sometimes worse things coming upon them.

I pray your husband is not guilty.

Dear God,

Please let Your will be done tomorrow in court. I ask that our family be in Your favor and that you guide and direct the judge and his words and actions tomorrow. If it is Your will, I ask that you grant us mercy in the court case tomorrow. Thank you for already taking care of this situation. In Jesus Christ's Holy name we pray, Amen.

I will be praying for you tomorrow.

Lord, I would ask that you would have your way. I would ask that whatever you think is right, make it so and we'll give you the glory.
