did you regret your decision?

never had one. i gave it consideration when i was 16 and pregnant though.

i have a friend that has had one. she said it was a very hard decision but at that time in her life she didn't really have many choices. once in a great while it will come up, and she cries while talking about it. she's a great mother to three children now... so she was able to go forward with her life and have children on her own time line.

i would never judge a person's decision in regards to abortion. the choice is very personal and the only person effected forever by the decision to keep a child, put a child up for adoption, or have an abortion is the mother. and i believe that until you have walked one mile in someone elses shoes you have NO ROOM to pass judgement. this mind set keeps me positive in a negative world.

I've never had one.
I knew of a girl who was the friend of a friend of mine who used abortion as birth control, so i guess it never bothered her.

I have a friend who confided in me that she had an abortion about 9 or 10 years ago. She brings it up pretty often so I'm guessing it still really bothers her a lot.

I had a miscarriage almost 2 years ago and had to have a DNC. I kind of freaked right before the surgery because when the doctor explained what she was going to do it seemed just like an abortion --but i saw that my baby had stopped developing and i had been bleeding and everything, so i was finally able to calm down. But even though I knew I could never have an abortion, that experience made me see it as absolute!

none. and hopefully never. I won't say i haven't thought about it. especially when i had an opportunity to leave a relationship only to find out I was pregnant again when i didn't want to be. would i regret it if i ever felt the need to actually go threw it....absolutely, but there are times where you have to do things you will regret at some point. It's just a matter of which regret you are willing to live with.

0.. and I would never do it. No matter what situation I found myself in, I would know that it was not the baby's fault. I have 2 friends who've had abortions and they both regret it. One of them has a daughter now and she says that when she was pregnant and reading all about what stage she was in she would cry thinking about the other baby. She says she wish she had given the baby up for adoption.

I have a 12 mos old and being pregnant made me feel stronger about my opinion. I heard her heart beating at 7 weeks while getting a sonogram. It's a baby no matter what people say.

I have never had an abortion in my life. I have never even been pregnant.....I was with my first bf for 3 1/2 years and we never even had a scare same with my second bf of 2 years...I do know that if I did get pregnant right now I would have an abortion because I do not even have a job right now, and I am still not ready to have a child at 22 years of age. So I use protection and it has never failed me yet hopefully it never will because I am scared to have an abortion and scared to have a baby.

I have had none, but a friend of mine has and she regrets it every day. She was to young to care for a child. She only 14 at the time and her mom and dad told her to either have the abortion or u out of the house and to home for pregnant girls.

Abortion is simply not an option for me. I think anyone who is contemplating an abortion should be required to see an ultrasound of the baby so she can more fully understand what it is she is about to destroy. The few people I know who have had abortions regret it strongly even decades later.

Zilch, zip, zero, null, NONE.
And I think if I ever had to make that decision.....
I would stop having unprotected sex with someone I wasnt married to. That way if it did happen, I would be starting a family and it wouldn't be an inconvenience of any sort.

Couples who have a hard time getting pregnant would have broken hearts right now.....

i have had none. i had a scare once...when i was in high school, even then, abortion was not an option to me....and that scare was through rape. as much as i hated the man, i had decided that i could not kill my own child, in order to kill his. luckily...i did not end up pregnant.

since marriage, ive had one child. the only pregnancy ive ever had. (have a stepchild also) it took over a year to conceive the one we have, she is almost three now. and since her birth, we have not used any type of birth control...still not pregnant. i have endometriosis, and chances are...she will be the only one ill ever have the honors of creating.
