Being a weightlifter, I never paid attention to the height-weight ratio numbers. Right now I am 6' 190 and I have 10 extra pounds on my waist I could get rid of. I was your size my senior year in high school, and I appeared to have zero ounces of fat so your weight does not sound like a problem at all. Some weightlifting excercises are ok for 14 year olds. I would avoid heavy weights, poundages that you would be struggling with on the 6th-8th rep or earlier.

Did your coach not tell you that teenagers are in danger of doing serious harm to their bones and muscles by lifting weights? Someone your age should not be lifting weights. neither should you be exercising for9 hours daily, either. At 160lbs, you are at the perfect weight for someone 6'0.

You got a great start, though when I was a kid I knew a guy who played basketball and was 6'1" in 6th grade and didn't grow much after that. If you want to play professionally, try to be as big as possible, as flexible as possible to avoid injury...and alot of the big gals can hit 3's.
