Your spiritual gifts are not yours but God's. All you are is a willing vessel that God chooses to use as He needs to. In most cases He will give you operational gifts as He sees your willingness to operate them. It will probably boil down to a special area of ministry, but not always. When you get the Holy Spirit baptism, you are then equipped with the whole ball of wax, so to speak and God may use you in any area of any gift. If healing is needed and you are the only willing vessel around, He will heal out of you. If it hospitality that is needed and you are the only willing vessel around, He will use you for that gift. He is the councilor and the minister and the teacher and all of it. You are but the clay. He is the potter.

Let's see...the test said helper, exhorter, prophet, administrator.
Helper...I pretty much do any little task to help out. I may run the projector, do nursery duty, teach sunday school. Whatever's gotta be done.
Exhorter...I guess I do encourage those who are down.
Prophet...There have been a few occasions when God has given me a precise word to give to someone that totally spoke to their situation that I had no idea about. Not real common but when it happens it tends to be real specific. Kind freaky actually.
Administrator...I'm the treasurer/secretary so I keep the books, pay the bills, and remind our forgetful pastor when he has something important coming up.
It's not a flashy job description, but somebody's gotta do it!
