Best bet is to check ebay for bibles in the antique area...
Then try to find one similar.
I have many old Bibles that date back to the 1800's as well. It all depends on the quality and condition as well as if it has something unique like a carved cover and back cover etc. They can range in worth and value greatly given all of the variables... now if you can find someone that is tied to that Bible like a previous owner and then track the ancestors you may be able to fetch a better price, that is if they care.

i would suggest going to a genealogy message board and see if anyone is out there who knows where it came from. One other option is carrying it to an antique book dealer or googling antique book quotes. It sounds like you have a real treasure even if it is not Worth much cash:)

You know you should keep it,don't try to make money off the bible you are not supposed to sell the bible, anything that pertains the knowledge of God should be free.
