I think that many languages will always be around, but on an international scale (business for example), there will only be three or four languages - My guess is English, Spanish and Mandarin.

In many countries small languages are dying out do to moving to larger city's. As time passes there will be fewer and fewer Lang's spoken world wide. I think it will take 300-500 years to get to about 20 spoken Lang's. If i where to pick a top five i would say Mandarin Chinese. Hindi, English, Spanish, Russian
The most widespread Lang is English with more speakers in china. The need for a Lang will be determined by trade. Currently the Lang spoken by pilots world wide is English.
to clear up the top five Lang i mean
1. Asia based
2.Dravidian Sanskrit based India
3.English based
4.Latin based
5. Slavic Cyrillic based

No not at all.All the European nations will speak their respective languages.Even a country like Norway with roughly 6 million people speak their language and they will be speaking as long as they exist.Same is true for all European nations.
In Asia Japan,Korea(North and South),Thiland,China,Israel and Arab Nations will speak their languages as they speak at the present.
Third world nations like India,Pakistan,Sri lanka,Algeria,Senegal,Peru etc. will speak the languages of those countries who ruled them.
So by 2100 all first world languages will exist and all third world languages will die.

I doubt it. Many very small and or traditional languages still exist today. The one thing that one does notice is that many languages have switched alphabets to the Latin alphabet (mostly eastern european and asian languages)
