well from years of winking ive seen its usauly ends in a confrontataion of of opposite sex where is numbers are exchanged or a person like what they see. so yes winking can be flirting . or when someone gets whats your saying on the sly and wink ever seen that done?

Not always. It can easily be misunderstood. Sometimes it means a person is kidding. Sometimes it's an expression of agreement. Sometimes it it's like acknowledging a private joke. It could be a very mild form of flirting. Occasionally, it could have more deliberate meaning, like someone winking for no other apparent reason as soon as they caught your eye.

I think that alot of people think so too. I was trying to think about someone winking at be in a friendly way and i couldn't. Dont think that everybody is doing it to be flirty because to them it could just be a friendly thing.
