It is generally known that the Earth was, at one time, one big continent with one ocean. Over billions of years, it has eroded, separated and drifted to form the seven continents (as well as the thousands of islands) we have today.

Does the bible support this idea?

So it all happened at once, then?

The Bible does not concern itself with this particular theory.
Therefore whether it is true or not, let it be in the eye of the beholder!

I would say that there's nothing that supports or contradicts this specific theory. The Bible is a little unclear about what exactly happened outside a summary. This is in the same bucket as the Big Bang Theory. It's generally accepted and the Bible doesn't specifically confirm or deny this.

The seven-day creation has been an open discussion in the church for a long time. It's a little unclear from the original Hebrew text whether the day referred to in Genesis was a period of 24 hours or not. Note that a day in modern terms is the period from sunrise to sunrise, but before God created the earth there was no sunrise.

The bible doesn't say. It is writings of a tribal people in the middle east... I'm sure they didn't concern themselves with what was going on outside of that area.

But, many Christians that I have talked to say they think that Noah's flood is what actually separated the land.

I have heard some suspect theories from Christians who suggest that Pangaea was broken up during the flood of Noah's time. I can't recall the details, but it is probably a huge stretch of the imagination.
