I am 24 yrs old now.
Back in high school I skipped school ignoring our school officer and I got big time points on my license for it. Then a couple of speeding tickes and I had my license revoked for 30 days. What like seven years ago.

The deal is you have to be ticket free for three years before your out of the system. Get one tickets for anything and your on a six month probation, anyother offense/anything within those three years and you're license is suspended.

So I lost my license for a u-turn. I'm a good driver and I have been good about not speeding, I consider myself an adult and mature driver on the road.

But Is it fair that I'm 24 and I still have to deal with this BS that if I get any kinda ticket I have to be harrassed by the DMV. The seem like Nazi's to me????
Shouldn't they let me out of there vice like grips and suspend people licese for real reasons rather then people like me who get it taken for making a u-turn.

What do you think...?

Look, I don't speed and I have only gotten speeding tickets on the highway driving 300 miles to school (all from couple years ago and they wern't reckless). I don't race around town and I don't have road rage.

I agree. They bust you for stupid things. Even more so if you live in small towns like me..I like to say the cops get.."bored" because they pop you for ANYTHING.

you sound like you have road rage and take your anger and aggression out on the road. You might need to take something to calm you down. You don't sound like a safe driver to me at all, I think they are doing the right thing by penalizing you. You sound like someone who needs to be kept in check. someone who takes a mile when you give them an inch.
Everyone who really drives safely has a considerable amount of fear in them when they get behing the wheel because they are aware that they are in a death machine.
Some people are oblivious, so the law needs to give them the constant fear of getting caught. That's a good thing.

Hey man,

Look ive been a cop now 6 years, i have seen alot, trust me that is nothing compared to the guy who had 32 points on his license. No lie brother. Just watch your speed, make sure all your cars equipment is fine and drive safe.

Be safe man

Where do they draw the line?
Breaking the law is breaking the law.
Was there a SIGN that said NO U TURNS?
Did you READ it?
And you made a U turn anyway?
Grow up.

You are NOT mature and "adult-like" or you would not have made the u-turn.

No, they should not change the law for you. You are a repeat offender.

So, it is fair. You just don't like it.

no it isn't right as long as u have'nt caused or been in an accident they should leave ppl alone. I am so sick of cops abusing their power just to earn money for their depts.
