What kind of experiences have you had as a HM and do you enjoy that particular rating?

My husband is a sergeant in the Marine Corps and he hates it. :)

Eeeek. I've known some HMs and it's not a job I would choose for myself. Then again, it might be a good career opportunity that would transfer well back into civilian life. I'll see if I can get in contact with any of my old HM friends and try and get back to you - hopefully someone on here will have better answers than I do!

in todays' climate, if you are a Male and go HM you will go FMF and Greenside.. in the field with Marines. If you are female, the need is a lot lower, so there aren't as many openings.
Both of my parents were HMs.. My Father was FMF and saw combat with Marines.

I knew some HMs and they loved it however don't listen to the CT go be an AO that's where its at and remember
