No, the USA is not stealing Iraqi oil, at least not yet. That may be the long-term plan (read Kevin Philipps "American Theocracy" for the low down on this situation).

The "insurgents" are blowing up anything that moves and the plan to rebuild the wells and refineries appears to be years behind schedule, so your question can't be answered objectively right now.

They could care less about Iraqi's or petroleum.
They (the Bush Administration) are stealing directly from the american people. How? though a thing known as " no bid contracts". Because Iraq is remote and a war zone, there really are no willing parties to check and call for an accounting of the BILLIONS of dollars dissapearing there.
It is nothing less than a national outrage that The gulf region of the taxpayers plays second fiddle to the governments shameless self gratification at the thinly veiled "free the iraqi's crap".
And just as people are starting to see? they drag out the ridicous issue of immigration.
They have no incentive to correct either topic as they ruthlessly bleed both legal and illegal residents of the U.S. dry through high taxes, high consumer prices, and an ever decreasing delivery of taxpayers services.
Any fool who believes they are there for oil has totally missed the fact that Halliburton( where Cheney has a vested interest), and all the other pork barrel politicians, are robbing the public blind through outrageous gas price hikes, exporting jobs to countries with no labor laws, and stupid programs like NASA(biggest waste of money ever), are now positioning through the "threat of Korea" ooooo i'm scared, to rip off even more money to update the missile defense system.
Wake up people , the government is playing you like a cheap guitar!

definintely. the only reason the gas prices are so high is cuz the station owners and government are greedy and there's still not enough for the hummers and stuff. And the media's just lying about the Iraqi weapons. Bush said we would find them in mass production. to the ppl who say Bush's not lying, can show me at least 100 Iraqi weapons of mass destruction?Y do u think we're not bombing north korea? I'm not saying that all north koreans are bad, just Kim Jong Il and some others. I know how it feels if any N koreans are reading this. Next thing u know, we're gonna say alaska has WMD's so we can get more 'black gold'.

I agree, but the funny thing is.... America has it's OWN oil. They just won't use it, preferring to strip the rest of the world of theirs first, then sell the US oil at ridiculous prices in an attempt at world domination.
