If philosophy were not at least partly rooted in theology, how could it truly exist? Likewise, if theology were only facts and no love of wisdom or gain to truth, what good would it be? I cannot imagine either growing without the other.

Theology is a mans opinion and definition of a philosophy.
Christianity is a philosophy, baptist is a religion based on thier theology.

No. Philosophy deals with logic and reason. Theology deals with mythology and folklore. Two seperate schools of thought.

A religious doctrine is a particular type of philosophy, and theology is a portion of religious doctrine. So I guess the answer is yes.

I am a Follower of Jesus.
I took Philosophy in College;
I hated it.
Alot goes against the Bible.
I prefer God's Wisdom, which stands 4ever.
Philosophy is a lot of mumbo-jumbo.
Half I disagreed with and the other Half didn't make any sense.
