Will be graduating in feb '07 from pierre's school of cosmetology and looking for then up-coming positions in the florida area

It's a little too early to tell since some positions available now may not be available in Feb, and vice-versa. What you can do is call some of the local shops you are interested in and check on whether there is a receptionist position available. That way you get your foot in the door and know more about the salon before you get your license. After you graduate you can decide if you like the salon your in and if it's a place you would like to style hair in. The salon will be more likely to hire you, if you have a good work record, since you work there instead of hiring someone off the street that they don't know.
