Considering Canada goes from the Pacific to the Atlantic, and all points in between, Most of Canada is in a different time zone from San Francisco.

San Francisco is in the US Pacific time zone, which has the same time as the Canadian Pacific time zone.
Canada has the same time zones as the continental US (Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern), but Canada extends further east than the US, so they add two, the Atlantic and Newfoundland zones.
Most of Canada uses daylight savings time, although there are a few local exceptions. Daylight savings time is not so important in the far north, where days are extremely long anyway.

YES, for most of Canada. Canada sretches from further east than Maine, and goes west as far as Alaska, so it is bound to have several time zones. In fact, there are SIX - five of them the same as in the United States: Atlantic, Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific. These are all one hour different from each other. The sixth is Newfoundland Time, which is a HALF HOUR ahead of Atlantic time. Now, almost all parts of Canada have Daylight Savings Time, but it is actually decided by localities rather than large areas. I think you in San Francisco are in Pacific time, so for example Toronto is is Eastern Time and three hours ahead of you.

Yes and no. There are five time zones in Canada. British Columbia is in the Pacific Zone, the same as San Francisco. Their zones are comparable to the US. Pacific, Mountain, Central and Eastern times. They also have Atlantic Time which is one hour more than Eastern.

Depends on which territory you are referring to. Canadian territories directly north of the Central Time Zone in the US are on Central Standard Time and so forth. Here is a map of time zones and the boundaries for each.
