I have red bumps in big patches all over my body. They itch really bad, and you can't really see most of them until I itch them, I have them all up my arms on my elbows (those ones look different, dryish) some on my lower stomach, and legs. I lotion ALOT. I thought it could be flea bites maybe? We just put new carpet in our place, cleaned all our sheets -bedding washed both cats and got flea collars and I still have it. It got alittle better and then just came back again. Does anyone know what it could be? Also, maybe somethin from the lake maybe because Ive been going there lately. I appreciate any help!

obviously, without seeing them Nobody can correctly diagnose you. You may be having an allergic reaction to something.

Flea bites usually run in a line not spread all over.

Why not make an appointment for a dermatologist or your regular doctor. It could be something simple that is easy to get rid off. Unless you like to scratch all the time.

First check your dogs for fleas or flea dirt(poop). It's little black pieces of dirt looking stuff, put some on a piece of white paper or a white tissue. Put a drop of water on it, if it turns red, then it's flea dirt and they probably have fleas. Like mentioned, fleas generally start out on the legs and feet. Otherwise, like mentioned above, I'd call a dr. you're probably having a reaction to something, or like someone said possibly the chicken pox. Benadryl works good, and calamine lotion or some kind of anti itch cream until you can get a hold of the dr. If you don't have any anti itch lotion, try taking a bath with some baking soda in the water. If you have any wheezing or trouble breathing, call 911-that's nothing to mess around with. Also, stay away from the flea collars for the animals. They don't work, and some will actually burn the dogs neck and make the fur fall out. Happened to one of my mom's dogs. If you do have a flea problem, best thing to use is either Advantage or Frontline. Vets sell them(expensive), or you can buy it online at drs. foster and smith-they're the cheapest I've found.

There could be a whole host of things going on with your skin. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment to see your family doctor. He or she may refer you to see a dermotologist, which is a skin doctor. It could be fleas, mosquito bites or mostly anything.

Put your mind at ease and go get checked out!

Good luck to you and I hope you feel better soon!

It sounds alot like scabies. They really make you itch and are highly contagious so go see a dermatologist. Look up scabies on a google search and it will tell you what to do. Don't wait, because they multiply and from what I've read they can cause other complications also.
Good Luck

If its extremely dry, red, and itchy as hell it might be eczema. Or if you were at the lake then it might be poision ivy. Go to a doctor it sounds serious
