People dint no if they believe so they try to find answers through others! But this will not help them they need To do some reading and look inside them self 2 find the answer!

People follow the crowd, so by asking if others believe in god they feel more secure in doing so as well.

People want to believe in God or they wouldn't make such a big deal out of people who claim they do. it's part of our biological and emotional make up.

so many people don't believe in god, or they doubt that he exists so they want to know what others think, because it helps them form their opinions about god.
