Hi all....i'm a 24 yr old female who is 5' 4'' and i weigh 210 lbs. I've been heavy all my life. Do you think I could get a decent boyfriend or should i just lose a bunch of weight before I even try? My biggest problem areas are my hips and butt. Please be honest with me.

I think that you should look for a man. He should like you for who you are and if he doesnt like you for you, then find someone who does. You shouldnt lose weight just impress a guy, or to get a boyfriend, I think that is wrong, Just be yourself.

it's whats on the inside that counts right?...but in reality looks are important to most people. Instead of loosing the weight to gain a man I'd look at it this way, I'm going to loose the weight for myself and my health. You'll feel better about yourself and have a better self image. work hard at loosing the weight and the men will be queuing up after a while and you'll be able to pick and choose :)

Honey PUH-LEASE! You know what? I myself have a round belly and I've had strangers ASK me if I was pregnant. I used to feel like crap and wanna cry but then I thought about it. I am COMFORTABLE the way I am! I love food and I'm gonna eat steak and shrimp and fried chicken. I'm not gonna give up food just so I can fit in with what the media wants! No WAY! I have a man that doesnt care because I don't care. Why should you go out of your way just to please a man? That MAN is supposed to be going out of his way to please you. As long as you feel comfortable in your own skin the confidence will show and others will notice and think you are gorgeous too! Do your thang!

ok so losing weight might help and thats a good start

but remember dont loose so much that you are like on of those stupid girls who dont eat! do it the right way and make sure you have enough meat on your bones so you dont become sick you dont want to be pencil thin

and ya kno once you loose say40lbs the right guy will see how pretty you really are -- inside and out!!

If you loose weight you may end up with someone who just wants your new body.I suggest finding someone first, that way if you loose a bunch of weight the person will appreciate you more for it.

Strict diet and workout routine. Lots of cardio and cut the fatty foods and sugar! After a few months see what happens.

Honestly, I think you should lose weight, because otherwise, you'll probably end up with some desperate loser. (No offense, that's just the way it is.)

I know you can lose the weight, once you form healthy habbits, it really isn't that difficult.

Sweetie, it's not about the weight, it's about how you feel about yourself.....I also have been heavy all of my life, but I also consider myself beautiful and it radiates out.....I have tried every diet in the book, didn't work.....If you think that guys only like skinny girls, then you have a pretty bad misconception of grown men......Take care, and happy hunting!!!!!!!!!
