To make a nice neat coil of a main sheet requires braided and not twisted sheet line - otherwise it will twist. Just lay the end down on the deck in a small circle, and keep going around it. Keep the sheet tight. If you're right handed, coiling clockwise works best, if you're left handed go counterclockwise. Be sure you have enough room for the full length of sheet before you start. Practice makes perfect!
