I'm getting married and I'm looking a good and cheap place for a honeymoon where we can spend together with our son. I'd like to spend at least 5 days. How much would be my budget? Thanks!

i don't know where you live, but Maine is beautiful. I have lived here all my life, and everyone who comes here once, always comes back. There is a place called Bar Harbor and it's beautiful. It's romantic , it's right on the ocean, there are horse trails for kids, you can go on a whale watch, you can go camping or there are cheap hotels. In Portland there are lighthouses, childrens museum, beaches, parks, it's just a great place to visit. I'd say you could come and stay in maine for $750 for five days. ( without plane ticket and car) Good luck where ever yu decide and congrats on your new marriage!

Cancun is realtively inexpensive and they have a lot of activities that your son could participate in. An all-inclusive hotel would eliminate the need to find places to eat. Also, Jamaica is really nice. But you have to book soon, this is the 'high" season in the caribbean and most other places.

niagara falls, a great family place and if you are crossing from the US to Canada the exchange rate though not as great as it used to be is still okay. My husband liked the wax museums but there is also the butterfly conservatory which I have heard many good things about.

"Good" and "Cheap" contradict each other.

Camping is cheaper than motels, and motels with kitchen units are cheaper than motels with restaurants.

I know a place in Fort Bragg, California that will rent you a single room with one double bed for you and your wife and a twin bed for you son, with a kitchen, for $60 a night. Your budget would be $300, plus air fare, car rental, food and miniature golf fees.
