We don't think the Muslims are the bad guys. The extreme fundamentalists are the bad guys. The main problem is that the Islamic clerics say nothing about what the terrorists are doing. What can we say when the Muslim leaders sit back and do nothing? The only conclusion is that they want the fundamentalists to succed. So what are we as non Muslims to do or think about this?

Up until Sept 2001 we really didn't pay a whole lot of attention. But when a bunch of extremists posing as Muslims attacks your country and kill a few thousand innocent people it tends to make alot of people look negatively on all Muslims. I suppose if Jerry Falwell got a group of Baptists together and blew up Mecca people in the Middle east would be pretty pissed at Baptists.

Then you start examining the beliefs of these hard line Muslims, and its so far to the right it makes George Bush look like a Democrat

Muslims are not necessarily bad people any more than Christians, Jews, Atheists, Agnostics, Jains, Sikhs, Hindus, etc, are. Unfortunately, relatively small groups of extremists from any group can ruin the reputation of the rest of the group, which seems to be what has happened in the United States regarding Muslims, at least to some extent.

It's cuz the few bad ones are the only Muslims with press coverage. If we are all bad, one-fourth of the human population would be bombing everyone in sight. The media and government are going way overboard with the whole 'terrorist' thing. We're not all bad. Only a few Muslims support the stuff the extremists are doing. Every religion has its bad eggs. Ours just get the most media attention. Sry if I offended ne1

Why do most muslims think Americans are the bad guys? They are making it harder and harder to believe that islam is a peace loving religion. I live in a very small town. Already we have lost 4 soldiers while serving in Iraq. I used to be pro-muslim, lets all just get along, now I am afraid that is changing.

9/11 ring a bell? We don't like people who try to kill us.
I was watching an internet site and it showed muslims demonstrating in the street. With signs that said Death to American Kill Christians in the name of Allah
One day Allah will kill all Christians
Honestly, it made me a little nervous. When someone wants to kill you it has a tendency to make you think they are the bad guys.

Is not just the muslims is just everybody, is all about fanatism and following blindly to their so called leaders, they follow without thinking and the books that they reveer were all writen by men and modify by men to fit their needs, yes including the bible, a lot of people choose to follow blindly instead of trying to understand the meaning fo things they dont even understand their own religions, how many people were killed by christians? how many by muslims? how many for any other religion? we all are the bad guys either by chosing to be ignorant or by promoting that ignorance and use it for their own needs, and thats my humble opinion on the matter.

last time I checked I wasn't almost killed at the Pentagon on 9/11 by buddist. So when the muslim population stop giving people reasons to think poorly of them, then things will change.

Well, Muslims are certainly in the news a lot lately and the stories are NOT pleasant, flattering or positive. Could that be why, do you suppose?
