d'accord means "okay" in French.

It means ok eg. When someone comes into the store & I ask if I can help him/her & the response is "I'm just looking" the response would be d'accord. If I am agreeing to something I'd say "Je suis d'accord".

It either means "ok" when it's only "d'accord" and it means agree as in I agree (je suis d'accord)!

a frenchman would say "d'accord" where we'd nod and say "yeah"

it's a way to agree, like saying "yep, ok, uh-huh"
