he knows i really like him and he wants me to call him. but i'm afraid to call because i might hang up in his face. i also think he may be starting to like me too.

First...if you are friends you won't hang up on him.
Second, if he wants you to call him you should...otherwise that will hurt your friendship and leave less chance on moving to the next level.
You have to be sure a relationship is what you both really want, you may lose the friendship so be sure.
Just call him & talk like always.
If it feels like the right time to tell him how you feel, then do it. If not just enjoy the friendship.

Really think about whether or not this is something that you want to persue. If this could ruin your friendship then you don't want to chance it! I became best friends with someone I liked and then he started liking me too. Eventually we started a relationship that didn't work out but our friendship isn't that good anymore! he knows that I'll do anything I can for him and he takes advantage of that! But there are many people who work out great and live the rest of their lives together. Think about it and just talk to him. You'll never know if you don't talk to him so don't be afraid!

i had the same thing happen with a really good friend. you guys need to decide together what is best for you. it is easy to go from friendship to love but it isn't easy to go back the other way. love has to start somewhere and friendship is a great place for it to start. just be careful and make sure it is what you want before you jump into anything.

I know what you mean the only thing I can tell you is to be brave because if you dont he'll never know how you truly feel about him and you'll never know how he feels about you so I say give that boy a call and be persistant dont give up hope

if you like him go for it. you never know. or if it difficult to call, ask to meet at a local hangout. i hate calling guys, but my ex gave me the courage to not be afraid of anything. and if you do accidently hang up on him. he might just call you back.

You shouldn't be scared that ya'll are getting closer, you should call him and see where it goes from there, just remember what you are putting on the line, your putting ya'lls friendship on the line is it worth it? Do you thing that ya'll will still be friends if it doesn't work out?
