I've know a lot of guys who aren't interested in me after finding out that i'm a virgin... (just for clarification, i'm in my mid-twenties)

THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION TO HIT ON ME!

So, what's your sign???

Just f'in with you. I know that when I meet girls who are virgins I shy away. Unless I am genuinely interested in being with them for a very long time, possibly indefinitely, I'd rather not date a virgin. Question for you... Being a virgin, does it bother you if a guy you are seeing has been with a lot of women? I guess I figure if you are a virgin then you would expect the same from your partner.

I don't think it's a turn off....but i would say that if your that guy that treads where no one have been before there would be a lot of expectations to go along with that honor....big commitment, etc...but i have a question...why have you still a virgin??? have you not found the right guy???...saving your self for marriage???...what????...not hitting on you just want to know.

Well, I felt the same way too until I met my boyfriend. I was a virgin and he didn't care. He felt good to be the first one to...you know! lol He was very gentle with me and made it a less painful experience. Oh my goodness I love that boy to death!!!!!!!! I guess it's just that those guys prefer someone with experence but keep in mind, not ALL guys are like that!!

Maybe they are worried that they will invest a lot of effort into a relationship and not get any sex in return.

Or they dont want the responsibility of being your first. A lot of women get very attached and hard to get rid of when they lose their virginity

Well... this is the first I've heard of any guy being turned off... they're usually turned on. Anyway, he's probably turned of because he doesn't want you to stick with him, and be all like "ohhh... wow... I love you!" That's probably what he's afraid of. Hmmm.... Just watch the moive "The Wedding Crasher's" it explains it better than me. Good luck!!

A decent guy wouldn't be turned off by you, they would admire you to stay strong! So if they don't want you because of that they aren't worth your time and you deserve a better guy! So go for it girl!

if they are not interested cause you are a virgin, they only want sex

I've only seen it the opposite way. Guys I grew up with had great respect for the women who didn't sleep around. Those women who did (sleep around) were only good for one thing and then basically trashed for it after. Sad, but true.

Keep your head up high and you'll find that guy that respects you for who you are.

I don't think I have ever met a guy that doesn't like the idea of nailing a virgin.

I think that part of it has to do with being with someone who is "pure", they may see it as being inexperienced or that there is something else "wrong" with you that you haven't been with anyone.

Don't give it up until you are ready, there are actually guys out there that value that you are a virtuous woman.
