I really want to do karate but i have glasses will that make me unable to learn?????

its not intense karate its just a starter class

Yes,
I have glasses and have been doing Karate for years.
Most Dojo's don't allow beginners to hit twords the face until you reach the advanced belts. Even at the advanced levels, I would never throw a fast face punch to someone with glasses.
Don't go out and get sports glasses or goggles until you take some classes and find out.
Take the class and have fun!

You can still do Karate with glasses. I do tae kwon do and used to have glasses. They didn't limit at all. I took them off sometimes to spare, but that was the only thing. I like Tae Kwon Do better than karate so if you don't like karate try tae kwon do!!!!

glasses are fine with karate. my sister had a bunch of people in her class who wore glasses during karate and if they bother you then get contacts.

Yes you still can do karate.
There are special SPORTS glasses you can wear while your doing karate. Basketball players and athletes with poor eyesight wear them.
Ask your optometrist about them.

You'll be able to learn you'll just have to take some precautions, especially when you're sparring. Get a strap that will keep the glasses attached to your head so they won't fall off. Also, when you are sparring your partner will keep in mind that you have glasses and won't do anything to intentionally hurt you with them.

Of course! If there are blind people, or people who are visually impaired and yet still practice judo, I don't see why not. Don't let anyone, lest yourself tell you it can't be done! Other people have done it! Check these sources out. I hope you practice your martial arts and love them as much as I do.

of course you can. i wear glasses, i have an old pair, the type that are very flexible. I aslo have a pair of sports glasses. ask your optician.
