It can be very harmful to a baby to get a DNA test when still in the womb, because they will have to go in with a needle through the woman's bellybutton. If the needle hits the wrong spot, it can paralyze or kill the baby. A DNA test isn't worth taking the chance of that baby dying. Wait until he or she is born. Look at the baby to see if he or she looks like you. If you still have your doubts, then ask a doctor. It is up to the mother to have the dna test done. She can deny it.

You should wait until she has the baby and then you could get a DNA test. You could also have a amniocentesis done to determine the paternity if the Dr will do one, later in the pregnancy. Not to mention that amniocentesis can be risky to the baby. You never know she may end up miscarrying because 1 in 3 women have a miscarriage. I say that you should just wait.

Only after the baby is born. Oh, and blood matching is sometimes all you need to confirm. DNA testing is more accurate for proving a positive match, Blood type will absolutaly show a non-match in some cases.

For example, if you are type A, and she is O, and the child is AB, it ain't yours. No further testing necessary.

If your girlfriend wants to figure out how far along she is, take the first day of her last period and calculate the time it's been since then, and that's how far along she is. So, if the first day of her last period was 10 weeks ago, then she's 10 weeks pregnant. It's probably too soon to tell in an ultrasound how far along she is.
