Here in Mora, MN we had hot beef sandwiches and corn on the cob.
I slow cooked a sirloin roast in crockpot with sea salt, Penzeys ozark seasoning and coarse ground pepper. I kept basting it in white wine. I made gravy and mashies. I got corn on the cob from the local stand in town, it was sssoooooooooooo good. My husband had a double decker hot beef.
