When Adam and Eve werer created they were larger than people today. Ever since sin entered the world humans have degenerated and have become smaller and smaller in stature. The fruit that was in the world then was far more nutritous than it is now and allowed for greater growth. This was also true of animals. They were much larger than they are now and also lived much longer. Adam was almost 1000 years old when he died. And since lizards never stop growing they got to enormous sizes. This is the reason for dinosaurs.

The Bible account in the first chapter of Genesis states the general order of creation. It allows for possibly thousands of millions of years for the formation of the earth and many millenniums in six creative eras, or “days,” to prepare the earth for human habitation.

Some dinosaurs (and pterosaurs) may indeed have been created in the fifth era listed in Genesis, when the Bible says that God made “flying creatures” and “great sea monsters.” Perhaps other types of dinosaurs were created in the sixth epoch. The vast array of dinosaurs with their huge appetites would have been appropriate considering the abundant vegetation that evidently existed in their time.—Genesis 1:20-24.

When the dinosaurs had fulfilled their purpose, God ended their life. But the Bible is silent on how he did that or when. We can be sure that dinosaurs were created by Jehovah for a purpose, even if we do not fully understand that purpose at this time. They were no mistake, no product of evolution. That they suddenly appear in the fossil record unconnected to any fossil ancestors, and also disappear without leaving connecting fossil links, is evidence against the view that such animals gradually evolved over millions of years of time. The fossil record does not support the evolution theory. Instead, it harmonizes with the Bible’s view of creative acts of God

Oh for Gods sake. Read Genesis 1:25 On the fifth day God created Dinos. That was clearly 1 verse before Man. And hey, yea, I know they have never found the fossils of Adam & Eve, next to the dino bones... maybe it was because a T-rex ate them. The bible references Beast, dragons and creatures all the time. It wasn't until the 20th century did humans name them Dinosaurs.

I'm not Christian mainly because of the inconsistencies in the Bible so I'm gonna have to go against the grain here because you all are bringing up a few questions I wonder about myself. If the Bible was written by prophets and prophets got their word from God then wouldn't God mention something about dinosaurs to them?? Even if dinosaurs existed before humans wouldnn't God pass this information along. I don't see anything in the Bible that even comes close to describing any creatures of that size of stature.

The dinosaurs were extinct before they wrote the bible. Humans are a relative young race in comparison with the dinosaurs.

Well, first of all if you would read your bible, you would know that animals were created BEFORE man. Then read the pasages that Mark suggested.
