I met this guy almost a month ago and we really hit it off. We like all the same movies and books and the conversation just flows. He was in town doing some construction, and we hung out a few times. Then, he stopped calling. A week later he calls and leaves a message saying that he and his co-workers are headed out of town, and that I should give him a call. I didn't, and so he called Friday night and we spoke for an hour and a half. Before we hung up, I asked him why he hadn't called me while he was in town. He told me that he had problems getting attatched too easily to people, and then with his job (always on the move) it would screw with his head. He said that he'd been getting way too attatched to me and it was starting to affect him. He also said that he'd had a lot of stuff on his mind. Then he told me now that he was a safe distance away from me, he could talk to me. I really like this guy, but think he might be shady. Opinions?
P.S. I didn't sleep with him.

Men can be like this. It could be that everything he said is true. It could also be that he has a different girl in every town within 200 miles. Use your head, then your heart.

This guy has deep emotional issues he's trying to deal with. He showed you, and told you so. He becomes obsessive towards women, repeatedly. He's only capable of intimacy at a distance.

Do you really need advice on what to do here?
