In the trucking industry we closely monitor our employees through random drug testing. Our managers and supervisor are trained in how to spot the effects of drug and alcohol use. Several times during a fifteen year period a driver would come in to take his load after having partied the night before. So to answer your question the answer is YES the aocohol can be detected. One of the ways the alcohol leaves the system is through the lungs. That is why the Breathalyzer is such a valuable and reliable tool in detecting the use of aocohol.
