I'm originally from the South but haven't lived there in a long time and I can tell you the perception of Southern people is very different. A man with a Southern accent is perceived to be an unintelligent, unsophisticated redneck. But a woman with a Southern accent is looked more a Southern Belle. High class and hospitable. A woman with a Southern accent is soft and inviting. It's very feminine. It's just plain hot!

Ummm....no.....has nothing to do with accents...has to do with personality....you cant charm someone with an accent, but if you have personality you can charm the pants right off them.
