To answer your question: If someone lives their whole life and never hears about God or Jesus, Is there a way for them to go to heaven?

To address this question, let’s check two “levels” of exposure to God, Jesus, and the Bible.

Level 1: Never Heard Anything

In today’s world there are really not that many people who do not have some exposure to Christianity. There are many who did not care about or pay attention to what they heard (such as a Buddhist in China) but that is not the same thing.

That said, let’s suppose that someone in a remote jungle tribe who never heard of Jesus knew that it was wrong to commit adultery and went ahead and did it. Let’s also say that they felt guilty about it later. If at that time a Christian missionary came by, would that person’s guilt cause them to turn completely from their previous ways (repent) and accept Jesus? God, who can understand every person’s thoughts and motives,* knows whether they would or not. If they would repent, it makes sense that this person will go to heaven—even if the missionary did not show up. (Assuming they do not fall back into bad behavior, of course.) This is also consistent with God’s character, who desires that all be saved (1 Timothy 2:1-4). However, if they would not repent even though they felt guilty, it makes sense that this person would not enter heaven.

* 1 Chronicles 28:9 and Hebrews 4:12,13 are examples.

What about a similar person who woke up the next day not caring about what they did—or even wanting to do it again? Would someone who was not sorry for their actions repent and accept Jesus if a missionary came by and told him about God, Jesus, and the Bible? Probably not. Most likely, they would continue acting against their conscience, which would keep them from entering heaven. (See Romans 1:18-20 and 2:14-16.)

Level 2: Only Heard the Old Testament
People who lived before Christ did not have the ability to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. Yet, a way to get to heaven was available to them. The book of Deuteronomy, starting in chapter 11 (written before 1400 BC to eyewitnesses of God’s miracles) is a good but lengthy summary of what was involved. However, just like today, not everyone chose to follow God’s message. For an example, read the story of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke chapter 16, verses 19-31.

Notice in that story how the rich man asked Abraham to have Lazarus rise from the dead to warn his brothers? He implied that just reading the Old Testament (literally called “Moses and the Prophets”) was not enough. The rich man’s problem was the same as the “non-repentant” jungle man in the example above. The rich man had as much information as Lazarus did, but unlike Lazarus he ended up in Hades because of his desire to do what he knew was wrong. Further, he knew his brothers would be the same.

People who are indifferent (or callous in their thinking) are tough to convince, regardless of how much proof they are given. Read Matthew 11:20-24 for example. Notice that these people had the Old Testament, saw Jesus in person, and watched Him perform miracles. According to the rich man in the previous story, a miracle (of someone rising from the dead) would have been enough to convince these people to change their minds. Yet, we learn that miracles were not enough proof for these folks—they still rejected Jesus’ message.

Ironically, almost as though He was answering the rich man’s request, Jesus later rose from the dead—and physically ascended into heaven in front of many eyewitnesses (Acts chapter 1, verses 3-11). Still, there are many people today who say they do not have enough proof to accept Jesus as their Savior. Some things never change.

Most Christians believe that it is unfair for someone to go to Hell if they never heard about Jesus. This is not what their religion teaches though. Every Christian denomination, except one, believes that unless someone accepts Jesus in this life, they are damned.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only religion that has a way for unbelievers to enter heaven. They teach that a person can accept Jesus in the next life and then receive all the benefits of Heaven if their baptism is performed for them. LDS members (mormons) perform baptisms for the dead to allow all mankind to have the opportunity to accept Christ and enter Heaven.

Heaven is where God is. And frankly, you need not be concern. I could (but won't) quote the various New Testament verses; however, I would suggest a simple word study in the Gospel of John: just read the Gospel focusing on belief/believe/believer as well as nonbeliever. That should give you enough information to understand that God judges, not man.

yes. First of all, consider the millions of humans that lived and died before Jesus could offer his life as the means of salvation.
According to many, they by default are destined for destruction.
This would of course include Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, etc.
Does this seem fair to you?
Of course not.
The Bible talks of the 1st resurrection. Immediately preceding the 1000 year reign of Christ. The purpose is so that all those that did not have a fair chance to learn the truth, will indeed get that chance.
After the 1000 years, Satan is again loosed to draw together all those that after learning the truth will reject God's plan and join Satan in the final rebellion. At that point, the final war ending with the destruction of Satan and all who were misled by him, will take place. This being done, the standard has now been permanently been fixed, and if any challenge the authority of God from this point on? they will be immediately destroyed.

The point of all this hinges on the simple yet quite totally missed point of virtually everyone who believes they are "saved".

When Adam & Eve rebelled against God regarding the commandment at Gen 2:. 16 And Jehovah God also laid this command upon the man: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.”, they set into motion a challenge to the God's soveriegnty.(The right for God to rule mankind).

God in his wisdom has allowed the time ever since as a chance for the human race to try to live without the direction,
intervention and protection of God. Man has, in the meantime tried everything is his power to rule himself, yet no matter how high he sets his bar, always fails miserably.
No amount of science, no advance in medicine, no elevated philosophy, has ever produced the result of humans living in peace, loving their neighbor, or conquering illness.

When the time is up, God will at last restore to mankind the wolrd that Adam rejected. He will resurrect all who have fallen asleeep in death, and give everyone the chance to respond favoribly to his rulership.
So you can see, everyone will have a fair chance!

Yes... I think religion is something that was made up by an ancient king or ruler of some kind to gain control of his people. the people were probably disobeying him and so he came up with "religion" in God's name to scare the people into doing what he wanted, because they might not fear the king but its easier to make them fear god. I am a Muslim and I dont think all the rules need to be obeyed to go to heaven. Drinking, premarital sex, not praying five times a day being a sin is kind of whack to me. I do believe in a higher being and I think just being a decent (spelling??) person is enough to get you into heaven ie. dont kill, dont lie, dont steal, respect others etc... and saying a prayer here and there never hurts, but as far as going to church every sunday or going to the mosque every friday I dont think is nessecary for a ticket to heaven.

I believe God loves us all and His love is unconditional. You don't need to follow some man-made religion in order to live in the kingdom of Heaven. If you are a good person, you'll go. Read some books on people who have had near-death experiences. They come from all walks of life and have had extremely similar experiences, regardless of religious beliefs.

It answers that in the Bible. It says that if a person lives their life without ever even hearing of God, that there is a natural law in nature and that they will be judged by that law. Look at Romans 2:14

I've been told,but I don't buy it.

Bible? Christianity? Jesus? Dying?

What is the Imacculate Conception supposed to mean?

(NOT A VIRGIN BIRTH! - betcha never knew that.)

Jesus, the basis of Christianity? .

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.

Gods do not die? Do they?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?

Did Jesus give up Saturday for us? Big deal!

If Jesus died for our sins, there should not be any more sins, else why go through with it?.

If Jesus really DIED, he should be dead, dead, dead!

If you swallow this stuff, you are not going to like the folks who don't. You want them to swallow it too.

Christians want everyone to convert to their non-thinking in order to be 'saved'.

Believing and not thinking is like choosing a mental illness and becoming lost.
