I think that's awful, but not all women are gold diggers. We just want to know what you do so that if we don't have any idea what to talk about, we can ask you how work is going. It's just a typical question people ask in conversation.

Not all women are gold diggers, I know I'm not. But There are golddiggers out there and I applaud you. But If I were to ask if you had a job, is either I just want to make conversation know more about you or make sure you're not a low life trying to use me for my money. Again, congrads on dumping that women, Good lusk at finding someone who will love you and not your money. Why don't you pretend your not rich and see how women respond.

Ok here is my response. I'm not a gold digger but I don't want to have to pay for everything. If I date a guy I do want to know he has a job because I don't want my wallet to go empty because he doesn't have a job. Also to me, if he doesn't have a job I want to know why because he may just be really really lazy. If he has a job it shows that he is able to take responsibility and realizes that most things are not free in life and that you have to work for them. Am I gold digger..nope. In fact I don't mind it if I go on a date and we either slipt the cost or one night he pays and the next night I do. I don't expect him to pay for everything because that isn't fair.
Plus it is nice to know what they do. I mean seriously...the guy goes Oh I don't work anywhere..well that conversation just died!!!! But if he goes, yeah I work at such and such a place doing such and such a thing..I'd be like yeah really! That must be awesome!!

It is not the first question I ask a man when I meet him, but I want to know if the man supports himself or if he is just drawing disability or if he is living with his mother. There are many men in the world today who are looking for a woman who is gainfully employed to make their life easier with a 2nd income, insurance coverage, a nice place to live, escape from their present living situation, etc., and they have no problem telling a woman they "love" her in the process. It's a two-way street dear...not all golddiggers are female.

sorry about your luck
and i am sure all women will say that we dont care about the money
but i dont
it is a sad thing to be with a guy for his money
and only his money
you need to expand your horizons and instead of looking for women
just let her come to you
