The guy you have liked for a year, Go for him. Maybe he doesn't think you want to be with him as more then friends. All he can say is no. It will hurt but as you already see life goes on, more guys will ask you out. Keep your head up and be strong! Good Luck

well why dont u find out if ur friend wants to be more ..why is it everyone is afraid to "talk" to their best friends i mean isnt that what best friends r for? so what if it turns out he only wants to be ur bf and that is it..what have u lost ? nothing, ppl want to act all grown up n date yet they dont want to act grown up..rejection is a part of life it dont hurt not like someone is cuttin off ur leg or anything

Depends on if you want to risk a great friendship. Ask yourself if it is really worth it. If it is, then ask him out. But be warned, you could screw up a great friendship.
