ok i cheated on my ex gf several times but i dont cheat anymore and now all the girls that like me wont date me cause they think im a player. Why wont they just date me cause i dont cheat anymore?

Why do men cheat? And why do they freak out when the new women they date have a problem once they find out the man cheated before? Hello...think about it. What would you do if your gf told you she cheated on previous boyfriends? Would you be okay with it? I doubt it. And "Once a cheater, always a cheater" does actually apply to some people. I dated a guy who told me he had cheated before and that he'd never cheat on me, and towards the end of the relationship, he did, and I caught him doing it. But that doesnt stop me from giving other guys a chance.

Sweetie... you know exactly why. Ever hear the saying you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Or, once a cheater always a cheater. I am in a similar situation. My ex wants me back after he cheated. But if I take him back that is like saying its ok to cheat.
Unfortunately, the only way to prove yourself is to find someone and make sure you are faith full to that person. Don't worry, date a chick from out of town then she won't know your history!!!

"All" girls don't do any particular thing, just as neither do "all" guys...however, it's quite popular to feel that someone is 'once a cheater, always a cheater'. What have you done to prove that you have changed? You apparently don't realize the huge amount of emotional pain that often comes from being cheated on...there aren't a lot of people who would care to subject themselves to that.
It may take a while for those who know you, to see that you've changed and be able to trust you...until then, try going out with chicks that don't already know your dark history...

The "once a cheater always a cheater" may be fake, but still, you can't blame other people for not trusting you.
In my country we have a saying... "create a reputation for yourself, and then you can go to sleep", what means that once you created yourself a reputation, it's hard to change it. People don't often change their ideas about a person once they have formed them.
You can only continue to be faithful, continue to be honest, and try meeting new people and proving that you have changed to those that you already know. Eventually, your image will change, but it's a long road.

all girls don't do that, but alot of people believe in once a cheater, always a cheater sorry to say.and in most cases their just afraid of getting hurt so instead of taking a chance they would just rather not be bothered.

Because you cheated previously. It's like stealing from a store and then saying, 'don't worry, I won't steal anymore.' They don't trust you. Women have connections. You broke her heart more than once, deal with the fact that you've been labelled.

Because the fact is you USED to cheat. That's not something that's forgotten right away, or even soon. It may take a long time for girls to trust you again.
