Some people, mostly old fart country leaders, think that subject matter is too mature for people under 18. Which I don't understand since people under 18 clearly know what sex is and have it a lot. It is also hypocritical that a lot of country leaders become involved in sexual scandals and also expect children to see that, but not follow it.

You are not allowed to watch "sex stuff" if you are under 18 or 21 because you are considered a minor. We have to have a minor age law to restrict and protect those under age.

People under 18 can whatch some sex stuff. There are a lot of other interesting things to watch. For example:
Do you know who made peanut butter?
How peanut butter is made?
Where it comes from?
Your local library has a lot of good books about sex! Talk to the librarian and she can probably help you find age appropriate books and movies about sex. It is normal to be curious, but some things are better left to the more mature. talk to your parents too!

Because our country is stupidly Puritan when it comes to this stuff, and thinks that we'll all become sex maniacs when we watch it.
Okay, 5 and 6 year olds shouldn't be watching porn, but why shelter 16 and 17 year olds? Come on, they're clearly mature enough to know what sex is and the majority are already nonvirgins by that age.

Because sex is consider an adult subject. So logically speaking, you're an adult at 18 or 21, depending on where you live, thus letting you be more aware of this subject.

Because us adults like to taunt you minors with things we can watch (like pornos), but you cannot watch. We make these rules up so you can have something to look foward to when you are older and want to tease little kids. Go watch your cartoons for now.

the answer is: because you live in the USA. a country that has a "disturbed" view of sexuality (in the sense of: no breast on tv, etc.).
but, to balance that out, kids in the US can play with guns.

i think it is because adults well older people dont think it is approiate for people under 18 to watch it.
