I am using a wedding coordinator for my wedding. Mostly for my peace of mind and also to make sure everything gets set up correctly at my reception. My coordinator also provides timelines and will have 2 assistants to make sure that everyone gets to the reception from the church. If you can afford it, I think a wedding coordinator is essential. That way you do not have to have your friends/family help you out. I want my friends and family to really enjoy the day and not have to worry about things. My coordinator is costing 1900 for month-of services.

I planned my own wedding and my brother's wedding. My brother was stationed in Germany but they wanted to get married in NJ. It's totally not necessary to hire a wedding planner. Planning a wedding is easy.

i imagine a wedding ceremony planner ought to likely help, yet on condition that you'll arise with the money for it. I actual have a $5000 funds for my wedding ceremony with about 220 visitors that we are inviting. there is no way i ought to arise with the money for $500 or better for a planner. i imagine that your ideal guess is to parent out your funds and your centred visitor list first. in case your funds is $10,000 for one hundred visitors, bypass for it. if you're like me, i'd pass it.

Nope. But the site had a coordinator that kind of took care of everything the day of. It was still my responsibility to find a florist, a photographer, blah, blah, blah.

I know people who had a coordinator and they shouldn't have bothered. It was the worst wedding I had EVER been to and the day of the wedding, the coordinator just sat on her big booty.

I didn't want to use a wedding planner because I am too picky and didn't want to annoy the person.

You don't need one if you have enough time to plan the whole thing yourself. You can also have your family and friends help but you should have someone like your maid of honor to help you on a daily basis. You will be stressed out so make sure you have a good, helpful maid of honor and get rid of all useless people that can potentially ruin your day.

Nope. We had fun planning everything ourselves. It was a small wedding but every aspect had a very personal touch to it.
