i want the cnvertible one i saw one in really good shape online for about 9k but i want a lower price

And to add on to that also saw you where looking for a 2003 vert, just keep in mind at a 79 VW(even in great shape) will need a ton more regular maint than any modern car. So, if you main goal is to get an aircooled beetle as your daily driver, just keep in mind you realy have to maintian it or it won't last. Also before thinking about getting an classic vw read over that site, so you have an idea of problems to look for(ex. rust issues, etc). Good Luck

I have a friend who recently sold his 1975 beetle for $1800 but it was not a convertible. I hope that this is helpful
