My cat Dudley is asleep for the umpteenth time on his blanket. It's crumpled in the same fashion that it has been before. Can anyone in this cruel world tell me when this abberation of blanketry will cease? Or will I just have to face up to the fact that he doesn't give a **** about smooth blankets because he's a cat and cat's do that kinda thing. Please help as I'm thinking of sleeping in a crumpled bed myself and who knows where it will all end!

Please spare a thought for the poor cat - how do you rhink he feels to see his loving owner ruin a perfectly crumpled bed every single morning by making it when he gets up!

Oh, what torture to see such snuggly perfection destroyed and forced into an abberation of tucked in corners and folded sheets. What anguish your poor cat must feel and what confusion to see his supposed loving owner torment him so!

You asked where it will all end. I can tell you as I am also owned by a cat. You will end up sleeping on the crumpled up blanket, and Dudley (cool name, by the way) will take over your bed. Yes, it will happen, and no, there isn't anything you can do to stop it. :)

Just learn to live with it and crumple the blanket. Welcome to being a cat owner. I make my bed sometimes and then throw one of my big fluffly blankets on top and crumple it up for my cat to lay on. She loves it. So if you don't want to sleep on crumpled sheets and stuff just make your bed and then crumple a blanket that will be just for the cat on top. That way your bed isn't disturbed and the cat gets what it wants.

it will never end and I myself now crumple my own bed before going to sleep - I do not however find it necessary to circle around a few times before falling asleep =)
