What a great question.

I think that most things are possible, but that true love is improbable. Out of our desire to achieve something, we often settle for less than perfection, or compromise our affections in the mistaken belief that what we're experiencing is love when in reality it's just a proximity that's close enough to be acceptable and preferable to the alternative.

I think that Woody Allen said something like love is just a pair of matching neuroses, and I guess true love would therefore require psychosis. Psychosis is possible, and observed quite frequently, so maybe there's hope after all?

Well, if true love resembles the perfect relationship... And perfection in my definition is only a temporary illusion of the mind, than true love is possible... yet, nothing is forever... still that doesn't necessarily mean that all hope is lost. You have to work on it and it takes two obviously to make it work. Still, there is always hope, that one day you may find that special person... but maybe the assumption that it has to last forever is the beginning of the end... Making any sense here? Haven't thought that through very well yet.

I've met many happy gay couples, it's just a matter of finding someone with the same interests, same morals, and same basic foundations as you have. My cousin and his partner have been together for eight years. I'd say that there are definetly a lot of gay men out there looking for true love as well. It'll come. Good luck!

Yes.
Its a deep warm rich feeling, that makes you feel good even after years together. Its a tingle of excitement and anticipation waiting for him to come home. Its unexpected surprises and little things like, leaving your wife the last teabag when you know she hates coffee first thing in the morning. Its still getting goosebumps when you snuggle up. Its making you smile when you think of them.
Me and my husband are like this after nearly 20 years together. We still walk down the street hand in hand or arms round each other. We start and end the day with kisses. We tell each other "I love you" every day.

Yes there is such a thing as true love you just have to find it with that right special person. You have to work at any relationship it you want it to work out. Hard work and sacrifice are important in all fields of life.

i believe in true love and happy endings.

but if you dont look for it and make an effort for it, you wont get it.

so ppl who dont find it aren't uglie or dumb ..it's just that they're not trying hard enough.

everyone has a chance to true love. <3 <3 <3 <3
