If you don't, then how can you believe in the doctrine of hell which is eternal torture without end and without purpose?

If you do, then you are of the same moral fiber as Saddam Hussein, Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, and Pat Robertson.

quote:
"God sends no one to Hell you choose on your own free will"

That is the same way hostage takers, armed robbers, and terrorist justify it.
"give me the money or I shoot your wife! Oh by the way, thanks for giving me the money of your own FREE will.

Who in there right mind would choose to send themselves to hell, unless they considered that to be a more moral choice then the alternative being coerced upon them?

I'm all in favor of grown men and women believing whatever nonsense they like. But they ought to be ashamed to teach this particularly vicious nonsense to helpless children.

You said it! I don't believe in torture and I don't believe in hell!!

Hell and sin are man-made myths created by early male religious leaders to promote their patriarchal agenda to suppress the role of women in society and to control the masses with fear-based lives.

Hell and sin have nothing to do with God who is an all-loving eternal energy source and the process of life itself.

The purpose of hell is to frighten people into doing as the church says, and giving them money. It is not real, but if people believe it, use it to control them.

A M E N !

Christians believe 'God' does heinously sadistic, horrible things that very few of the worst of them would be capable of doing.

Christianity maligns 'God', and as you pointed out, this is one example of its vilification of 'God'.
