Americans. They need the following advice (I'm a Brit and I know we aren't good, but the US would win the arrogance olympics hands down, followed by a tied France and UK)
1. Not everyone likes America's foreign policy.
2. Talk more quietly.
3. Don't complain about people not being able to speak English when you can't either.
4. You do not rule the world.
5. Nobody else thinks you people have the right to bear arms. Most of you shouldn't even have string.
6. If you ask someone where the castle is, and they point to a heap of rocks, keep your disappointment to yourself. It's 1200 years old, FFS!
7. No, we don't sell Hershey bars, they're horrible. You want Hershey, go home!
8. You didn't invent the TV, the car, the light bulb, the Internet, or almost everything else you think you did!
9. Las Vegas does not have the world's greatest architecture!
10. Just because you can afford something, doesn't mean you can have it!

Rant over. Go on, someone do it to Britain!

Americans sitck out like a sore thumb anywhere. And they get angry when nobody speaks English. Why do they even bother traveling is beyond me. They always try to get all the attention by showing what a bad time they're having. They think civilized culture is having drive-through MCDonald's. But then again, what could I say about a country with less than a couple of centuries of history.

I am an American and have lived overseas for 13 years in 4 countries.
By far Americans are the worst. Most don't even try to learn the basic greetings in the native tounge, (Like where is McDonalds?) have very little respect for other cultures, want everything to be in english.

I'm probably erring towards saying the Americans, simply because I once heard one saying that the wonderful grounds of Warwick Castle would make and should be turned into a golf course! (Obviously I over generalising).

Secondly I would say we English, although most nations do speak English anyway.

The French also have to be up there, they are usually pretty arrogant.

that is style of authentic...i'm subscribed to a pen acquaintances information superhighway web site so indexed the following are some messages from people. "Small words. Use small words.. Us people are not quite intelligent. " on the different end of the spectrum there is this... "i want to have my information superhighway relations attain a factor of problematic communique... i'm not attracted to those with linear questioning kinds... i'd truly study from my acquaintances than have them study from me. I prefer to communicate with adult males, in case you've seen WKUK video clips, you already know why... see you later RATIONALITY!!! see you later... now, a idea on rationality. Rationality is a human school and has not something to do with the ambience of the topic in question. that's an evolutionary progression that has been quite useful to us in coping with this international. To detach oneself from the sentiments that come overwhelmingly from outer stimuli, one desires a diverse mind-set. questioning rationally, interior the way society had molded us to finish that, in itself has too many unignorable flaws, case in factor, it can't cope with ideas like infinity. it would want to purely cope with the finite, that is comprehensible, because the linear questioning kinds we've a bent to fall back on factor out that the prompt effect of a decision is extra significant than the outcome which will comprise an same, or extra potential than the deed itself. Even taking it a step farther, performing with the outcome in concepts, yet not the finest effect, remains irrational. So yeah, all in all, i like irrational people. stay interior the prevailing, or interior the destiny" Then there is this back from yet another. "haha i do not care! any accent is warm(; and really? did not do not ignore that. haha do you imagine people have accents? " not all are ignorant...

According to our Siberian tour hostess at the Polynesian Cultural Center, the Japanese. My friend was about knocked over by a Japanese woman and the lady didn't even turn around to see if she was okay. You see alot of that in Hawaii. I have found French tourists to be complete horses behinds. Of course, I, an American, am never obnoxious (ha ha!)

France! Hands down the majority of French people I have been in contact with while touring Europe have been arrogant and standoffish. The majority of people in France seemed to be completely offended that I did not speak French. I did not receive this type of attitude while touring through Italy and not speaking Italian nor Spain and not speaking Spanish.

I'll admit it, It's us Brits, we go to another country, bring our traditions along (just look at all of the greasy spoon cafe's in Spain offering Full English breakfast"), we don't bother with the local language, we simply talk slower and louder until the local understands or we simply give up. Generally, it's us Brits.

Probably Americans closely followed by the Brits (and sorry folks, Scottish people are just as bad abroad as the English)

Although steriotyped as ignorant, most people would say the Germans. (I wouldn't, because I lived in Dortmund for a couple of years). Although I am British myself, I would personally say us Brits are....Why? because we make no attempt to speak the local language, BUT, we expect the locals to speak English!
