I am 58 years old and it has taken me a long time to actually know this to be true.

He has given me everything I need, not what I want. He is Beautiful. I'm sorry you can't "see" Him He is right in front of you right now!

That's a great way to express it. The less I am dependant on the expectations of humanity and the more I am dependant on my source, I find that to be true as well!

No, when I am dependent on my creator he tells me what a LOSER I am, and to quit hogging him.
He reminds me that there are 6 billion other people in this one planet and that over 60% of them make less in a day than I spend on a fast food burger for lunch. He reminds me that if I really believe in him than I just don't give lip service. I do NOT give money to a building which claims to be his house yet never tells me to give a helping hand to a fellow neighbor I never met.
He tells me not to confuse the larger cerebrum that he has given me with any favoritism
He loves me as much as he loves you, as much as he loves a cat, a lizard or a mosquito. He created all of us.

Oh yea, he also tells me to get up and get a life and not to be so dependent on him.

Peace and love to you too.

Cheers.

I say you need a dictionary. When you get older, you will see that you don't need to depend on your parents that much. Unless you are talking about god, in which case you are independent from thought.

Heck yeah!

When I give my problems over to God and trust Him to get me through, I feel very free and strong.

It always feels good to know that someone like Him has my back!

That statement contradicts itself. You depend on your creator, therefore you are not independent at all.

You are completely nuts...God if there is one gave you, me, and everyone else SELF RELIANCE. I seriously doubt your complete dependence on your creator. PEACE!

Yes, because he owns everything and if you rely on the owner of everything then you should be better off.

Sounds more like codependency to me...

I try hard to reach that myself.
