There is this girl I want to ask out. We have known each other since we were kids, now 21. Her boyfriend was recently in a car accident and comatized, been asleep for two days. I really didn't know him, met the guy once. How long do I have to wait before I ask her out??

Asking her out is inappropriate for a couple of months. Then it should be something not romantic, at first.
But for now, stopping by the hospital or her house to see if there's anything you could get or do for her, would mean alot. Just leave her your number in case she needs 'a friend' to talk to or run an errand or something " just give a call." (Remember be compassionate and sincere.)

wow dude, thats a werid situation, I would give it some time to ask her out because she is most likely very upset and might see it as rude you asking her out while her bf who she might love is laying in a coma.. I think the best thing to do is just be there for her and eventually you will know when the time is right.. if it ever is

What???? Dude, if you ask her out she's going to turn you down flat. She loves her boyfriend and she's probably at his bedside at this moment praying for him to wake up. If you barge in now you'll come across as the bad guy and she'll hate you. Even if the worst were to happen and he passes away, she's strictly off limits for at least six months. Give her time to grieve, man.

I'd at least wait until you know if the guy is okay or not. She's been through a very traumatic experience and you look like an *** for wanting to move so fast!!

Talk about bad timing, how sick are you? If you want to comfort her, over her grief, then that's one thing, but asking her out on a date, is just sick.
Leave her be, if you don't wish to comfort her, at her sad time.

ok so why did you wait that long anyway? and dont ask her now -- she is concered about him and one of these days he will wake up -- wut will you do then? and how would you like it if you got in a accident and you went into a coma and your girlfriend went on a date with another guy? just think about that?
