ghosts are really demons or fallen angels. They can take on the appearance of a loved one because they were probably hanging around that person for a while. My own view, there are different levels of intensity with some of these beings than others, but they all want to deceive and destroy. Yes, they can kill you if you allow them into your realm.
You can open the doors to these beings through drugs, idolatry, paganism and sin in general.
They can't kill Christians, but they can influence someone, too. Yet, a Christian's fate is ultimately in the hands of God.

I love how non-believers must tell you that ghosts do not exsist. If you are asking this question then you are obviously a believer.

Most poltergeists are harmless and do not have the strength to hurt you at all. Most ghosts have to draw in energy from somewhere to make their presence known... and to do anything harmful would take a lot of energy. I am not an expert... not even close. I would suggest you go to :

I think this is more Christian nonsense somehow...exorcists and such...give it a break it's all daft nonsense.

There is no boogeyman poltergeist! if you dwell on it the imagination is capable of some startling things..my advice is don't scare yourself for no good reason, read some good books and educate yourself that's the best permanent protection from supernatural nonsense.

Demons can not kill you. They can cause a human to do harm to himself and at the most extreme could cause someone to die of a heart attack from fear.

However they can "SOMETIMES" cause physical pain - leaving scratches, red irritations on the skin like rashes, slaps.., hurl things at you - but we are talking extreme cases.

Jesus is the answer - no holy water, no wood stick cross.., just Jesus on his terms. A person unsaved can not ward off demons, but the redeemed can through the authority of Jesus name and he don't need no spook exorcist kit to do it.

No, ghosts and spirits can't kill you. They can scare you and you could end up feeling like they are hurting you, but they can't really do anything to you.
