he said he was going to hang out with me before i go to work today. then he decided to go to the doctor with his cousin. then he goes home and watches a movie with his cousin. he calls me to for a sec then says he has to go watch his movie so he gets off the phone. i talk to him all the time when im watching my movies and tv shows but he cant do that for me. hes not coming over cuz his stupid cousin is over. should i be mad?

Don't begrudge him a little time with his cousin. You like to have time with your family and friends, too, don't you?
By the way, talking on the phone while watching TV alone is one thing, but it's extremely distracting and rude to talk on the phone when there are other people in the room trying to enjoy a show or movie.

boys are boys they like to do one thing at a time. Personally I don't like to watch a movie and have someone yacking away while I am trying to follow the movie. He is probably the same way. I wouldn't read that much into it. He is hanging out with his cousin. Be the bigger person and say Ohh that sounds good I will talk to you later. Then he will wonder what your up to and you won't seem so needy. Guys don't find needy girls hot...trust me.

my man always does this stuff 2 me. i realize all the stuff i do 4 him but that he can't do 4 me in return. it really sucks i know where ur coming from. just remember next time u do him a favor if he is really going to do the same for u. if he won't return the favor then don't bother doing it 4 him. do ur own thing or if he cancels plans with u go hang out with ur friends or next time u guys have plans just do it back 2 him........see how he likes it! its ok to be mad for a while but don't hold grudges against him. and let him know it bothers u 4 him to cancel plans on u, maybe he's not realizing it means so much to u so u should talk to him before u make it a bigger deal than it really is.
p.s. at least it was his family he was with and not one of his buddies

He would be rude to his cousin if he would have stayed on the phone with you.
Did you think that maybe his cousin had to have some tests run and he is trying to keep his mind off of things till the results of those tests come in?

um...well he needs time with family and its ok to have a few days where u needs to spend time with family but how come he can't watch the movie with u and his cuz???idk what hes doing but if he really wanted u to be with him today he would have done things wit hu and his cuz...don't get mad jus talk to him and say that u really wanted to spend some time with him before work today and i know ur cuz is over but u said u would can u take a few mins. out for me or with us both(cuz and u)

Why are you begrudging him spending time with his cousin? Do you ignore your friends to be with or talk to him? If so, then you are rude and not a good friend.
His life shouldn't revolve around you, as yours should not around him. It's okay for you both to have other friends, other interests, and to desire to spend time doing other things than being together...that doesn't mean you don't dig one another, but that you both realize there's more to life than puppy-love...
Relax...and no, you shouldn't be mad...

I think (and so will everybody else) you are been a little too uptight and immature.
He needs his time, girl, whether you realise that or not, not everyday will be a 'I am so happy to spent my every waking hour with you' day.
You will need to learn to respect space. Or he is going sprint away from you.
Find something else to do in the meanwhile. Catch him some other day.
