It CAN be degrading but it doesn't HAVE to be.
Example of degrading: "Woman, git down there and give me a bj 'afore I smack you aroun' a bit."
That's extreme, I know. But the point of the example was, it's degrading if the man -forces- the woman to do it.
It's not degrading if it goes both ways... Oral sex can be performed on women too, so many people seem to forget. And as it is pleasurable for both genders, there's no reason why it should have to be "degrading" if it does go both ways, if both people are comfortable with it, and there's no pressure to do it.

It's only degrading if you believe it is. You have the choice to do it or not, it's like saying having sex is degrading, oral sex is just as pleasurable as full on sex -so sit back and enjoy. Never feel forced to do something you don't enjoy or agree with, but nothing ventured nothing gained

Are you asking why women think that oral sex is fine? Or women have problems with it?
I dont think oral sex is degrading, but in the manner a man might ask his woman to perform it might be.

Have you ever actually had oral sex? It might make you change your mind... And if you're talking about women receiving it - I certainly don't feel degraded before after or during, but then I'm having it with someone I love and trust. Have you tried that either?

I perform oral sex on my partner as I know it pleases her. Does this degrade me or her. We are happy with that. I have done the same with previous partners. Can we all be wrong. Perhaps you should take a look at your own relationship. I did say PERHAPS.

Its not degrading! Its fab, both as a giver and a receiver. One of my hobbies is oral sex, I love making my husband go weak at the knees when Im giving him a ********!

Personally I think it is a very intimate thing to do for your partner and can be enjoyable for both the person who gives and the person who receives.
I don't feel or think I am stupid (have a degree) but DO NOT find it degrading in the slightest.
