Dude... ok... here goes an answer for you. I got this advice from someone to help give me some practice extending the time it takes you to orgasm (I wanted to go for longer than 30 min, ya know? Wifey is demanding....) . Its the same principle for you.
Ya need to like take an hour out of each day and masterbate. The only deal is that as soon as you feel you're about ready to "pop" you need to stop. Thats the hard part. I don't mean stop for a few seconds... you gotta stop until you start seing the little man go limp. Then pick it back up and do it all over again... do this a few time in a row till you can't stand it... then have at it and finish.
When you're having sex then... and you feel as though you're gonna go... then stop and take a few seconds to switch positions.... that'll be your break.

Are you too nervous, ashamed, worried or excited by sex or is this issue "causal"? That is, that by worrying about it, you make it happen. If your worried about sex or ashamed of it, that could be your problem. STOP IT (I know, its not that easy). Sex is a god given act between 2 people that is to be enjoyed both for the man and the woman (or man & man, etc), or in your case the husband and the wife. By being ashamed, you start thinking about what she will think and then you compound an already sensitive topic...think of her as your best friend who only has your best interest at heart and would never hurt you. Good luck! Also, you should discuss this with her to let her know that your working on this. AND DON'T WATCH ****, that gets you over-exicted, you need to calm down, not exicted.

For real? Damn that sucks. Try this.... next time you're taking a piss, stop peeing, then start, then stop.... it'll exercise the muscles needed to control your little problem. Women can do it too..... or you could just jerk off a lot so it's less sensitive? Good luck either way.

It really is common, especially if you're new to sexual activity. Consult a licensed sex therapist, not just your gp.

Practise makes perfect. "Take care" of yourself often, and practise control. If you feel yourself loosing it, think about Smurfs. You can't fail.
